@40390576 ...I totally agree!! Avatar was "OK" at the very most!! But nothing special at all. Avatar was made to be all about special effects more than the story itself. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really connect to it at all comapared to District 9!! When I watched D9 for the first time..my eyes were glued from start to finish!! It has a lot of heart. and definitely 'touched my emotions' as you put it. It should have won multiple Oscars. Cant wait for the sequel!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MOVIE!!!!!! This was not only a brilliant story, but the special effects were ground breaking!!... Especially when they made it on a $30 million dollar budget. For those of you who didn't enjoy it because your 'Attention Deficiet Disorder' is kicking into high gear, go watch something lame and mindless like Tranformers 2!!

Its geneous as how the movie was styled to be a documentary and that made it that much more beleivable. Great story line, great characters, dialogue, everything was brilliant.
